Dry ingredients:

22 oz flour

1 1/2 oz arrowroot powder

3/4 oz baking powder

3/4 oz baking soda

1/4 oz salt

1/4 oz cinnamon

8 oz toasted coconut

Wet ingredients:

1 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup barley malt

1/2 stick willow run or butter

1/4 cup oil

1 tbsp tahini

1 tbsp vanilla

1 lemon juiced

1 3/4 cup soy milk or...

1/2 pineapple juice

Mixing:

Sift all dry ingredients together except coconut.

Whisk together first 6 wet ingredients, stir in the rest.

Whisk wet and dry ingredients together.

Fold in coconut.

I'll finish this when I figure out the pineapple/syrup for the bottom of the pan under the cake.

Dry ingredients:

22 ¼ oz flour

2 oz arrowroot powder

1/2 oz baking powder

1/2 oz baking soda

1/4 oz salt

3/8 oz cinnamon

1/8 oz nutmeg

1/16 oz clove

Wet ingredients:

1 stick of willow run margarine or butter

1/4 cup oil

1 1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup barley malt

2 tbs vanilla

1 1/2 cup soy milk or milk

1 juiced lemon

3 cups apples:

3 lb apples peeled and cored sliced

1 cup apple juice

In double boiler till soft should = 3 cups

Mixing:

Sift all dry ingredients together.

Whisk first 4 wet ingredients together till fluffy.

Whisk in next 3 wet ingredients.

Whisk in dry ingredients.

Fold in the apples.

Pour into oiled/floured pan.

Bake 350° 25/30 min. or till brown and toothpick in center comes out dry.

2 tsp cinnamon

pinch nutmeg

2 ½ - 3 cups toasted coconut

1 cup toasted chopped walnuts

Wet ingredients:

½ stick of margarine/butter

¼ cup oil

1 ½ ms

½ cup barley malt

2 tbs tahini

1 tbs vanilla

Rind of 1 orange

2 ½ cup orange juice

Juice of 1 lemon + a little rind

Mixing:

Sift first 6 dry ingredients.

Whisk first 4 wet ingredients till fluffy.

Whisk in rest of wet ingredients.

Whisk in first dry ingredients.

Fold last dry ingredients.

pour into oiled/floured pan.

Bake in 350° oven, 25/30 min. till brown and toothpick comes out dry.
